Rules for Pyramid | Simply Mac Solitaire
Card Layout: As with Giza, you might guess that this is a pyramid theme solitaire game, and a very different one, at that. The pyramid of cards on the tableau start with one card at the top of the pyramid followed by six rows underneath, each row containing one more card than the previous row. The last row, which contain the uncovered cards on the pyramid, have seven cards. The remaining cards become the stock pile. The waste pile is located in the upper right of the tableau.
To Win the Game: With the exception of the Kings, pair up cards so they amount to a total of 13, until there are no more cards remaining on the tableau. You can only deal the stock pile once.
To Play the Game: Select a card and drag it over its match that will make the pair total 13. The cards will then be placed in the discard/waste pile. For example, click on a five and eight, or a nine card and four card, or a Queen and an Ace (of any suit). Jacks are worth 11, Queens are worth 12 and Kings are worth 13, in which case you can simply double click on a single Kiing and it will be discarded. Aces are worth one.
If you reach an impasse, draw from the stock pile, but remember that you can only go through the pile once. In other words, there are no re-deals.
Pyramid Solitaire is very similar to Giza Solitaire.
